The challenge

Traditional social networks connect you well with distant contacts, but fall short on what's closest: finding and talking to people in your own area, right now. There's no space built for the local community and immediate interaction, rather than for the algorithm or long-distance ties.

The solution

We built a social platform aimed at connecting nearby people in real time. Through geolocation, users discover profiles in their area, send connection requests and chat instantly, one-to-one or in groups. It adds a social feed with posts, comments and reactions, profiles with following and notifications, and an admin panel to moderate users, posts and comments. And it doesn't only connect people: it also brings users closer to the businesses around them.

The result

A local community that's alive and orderly: people find each other and the shops in their area, talk in real time and take part in a social feed, all with moderation in place.
